I feel like I'm baling a sinking ship with a teaspoon, awash as we are with (dare I say) outrageous, inhumane, and capricious behavior from the new Administration. How can we come together to combat the evil we see?
I think we need to act collectively as well as individually. Speak truth. Support good organizations and engage with them. Focus on educating younger generations. And continue doing good for others as I know you’ve always done. Best answers I have for now.
Many people are calling many things out as evil, and I easily could and may still join them (and have done so in prior posts and in other formats). In this post, I was making a different point, one that is logically antecedent to the rest but that I haven't seen anyone else making - to reinforce the notion that there really is evil in the world, that calling it out is not mere hyperbole, and that we need to open our eyes to see it. That, to me, is the first step that too many people are not taking.

You've said the word "evil", but what are you calling out as evil?

Ah, good point!
